Literally all of Warhammers aesthetics and lore is ripped off from real sci-fi and fantasy. The most obvious example I can think of is chaos in warhammer being a ripoff of chaos from the eternal champion series but you can go on for ages picking out things they just took from other sci-fi. I think normies have some vague conception of warhammer being based on dunc but don't know how deep this stuff really goes.
