I didn't want to, but the massive influx of UTTP-style /raid/corders and shitters like soyjak.colony on soyjak.party turned a niche thing into a calling card for degenerate behavior (i.e CP posting and baby monkey torture garbage). It wasn't just a "haha this is gross, im so edgy" thing anymore, it devolved into attracting actually sadistic people. soyjak.party had a good while where it was dominated by this crap, with the whole "dead nigger baby" obsession being one of the biggest examples of it.
soot's sharty did permit gore, but it wasn't the main goal, so I decided to get rid of it as to prevent UTTP-types from turning this place into the sharty, which I think I succeeded in until I decided to tolerate soylita spammers (as niggers here wanted love and peace and tolerance so I did and they raped the site).

UTTP-types, cp spammers, and soyjak colony pedos would just come here to not make jokes but actually just lust over children. they'd post barely clothed children, talk about raping them, and discuss their favorite CP. Soot's sharty was about soyjaks, not about posting CP, so I wanted to curb that behavior and so I got stricter. Again, people hated this so when the soylita niggers came around I was hesitant to actually purge them and gave them chances to behave. Shockingly, off-site pedos who don't care about soyjaks and just like child porn and gore videos made the jarty unusable for an entire month until I banned them.

the best variant is a hard pick, but A24 encapsulates a soy boy's excitement perfectly, however feraljak's "YOU WILL" posting also goes far. They're two sides of the same coin and I love both near equally, but I think feraljak has slightly more utility and so is my favorite variant.
The worst variant? Cobson, unequivocally, for being the self-insert coal that started the trend of forcing jaks to create new "variants" and self inserting. I don't even think Cobson was that bad as a soyjak and the BBC edits (when not done by discorders) are a great way to mock soy boy sexual immorality, but the trend it started with self insert forced discord coal was a cancer that never stopped spreading.

At times, yes. CP spam, the constant attacks from off-siters, worrying about what gayops Kuz was going to pull with DDoSes just sucked, and trying my hardest to balance the rules in a way that never became unfair was always stressful. However, in the earlier days, this was all very rewarding because I got to have fun like I did on soyjak.party again. That's no longer the case, so it's just stress when I do care and apathy when I don't. I don't want this place to just turn into TF2Chan, so I rather take the Shrekchan way out.

Namefagging and avatarfagging just don't make sense on an anonymous image board. I didn't need to enforce this rule a lot until dedicated shitposters started trying to make a name for themselves on jakparty.soy. Yes, the rule was over-used at times and needed a lot of tweaking, but it was ultimately done to avoid the cancer you see on the sharty (and shemmy as well): posers not focusing on making funny soyjaks and instead focusing on building an identity.

Hosting them? maybe. the imageboard format just doesn't have a good way of enforcing rules and keeping out proxy hopping rule violators. quality control is very hard and image boards are very easy to manipulate by coordinated parties. Also, jannies who are overbearing can kill a site. I think the entire format needs a revamp from the ground up to both ensure quality control while not having over-bearing jannies. My best solution to this is in /comtech/ in the peerchan thread.
However, you can expect me to still be shitposting on various boards. /g/, /r9k/, and /trash/ are my favorite areas to shitpost at. Maybe one day I will join another alt chan, perhaps under a different name, perhaps under this one. I don't know.

Ultimately: yes.
The jarty made me laugh and have good times like I did with soyjak.party, maybe not forever, but for some time. I loved working on it at its peak and loved the people who used it. It was a lot of fun and I would happily do it over again (perhaps with some more tweaks to make the good times last longer). I'm happy the site was fun for other users and I'm glad I got to be the one to host it. The state of soyjaks may not be good, but my memory of the good times are, so I think it's best to relegate this site to where it belongs: as a good memory that can't ever go sour.
Thanks for asking the questions and I hope this gives you some insight into my administration. I'm up for some more if you have any. I tried to stay away from making a name for myself by cap-code posting often, but now that it's all coming to an end, I don't see any reason to have restraint.
