>I like where the site is at right now. Mods and jannies are active, nas kept to a low but not hyper rulecucked (trust me, I have to keep some jannies on a leash from ethnically cleansing the site). People are generally having fun, soy projects are being made. We had a period with excessive deliver presents toxing and that being every couple weeks instead of every day is a better balance because it feels like an event. 
If someone considers this state of the site to be "dead," I'll tell you there's no shame in leaving or taking a break. I stopped using south pole for years when the magic wore off and new people kept joining the site after I left; today those people are nostalgic for that time I didn't even enjoy the site anymore as their best years using it. In a year people will wish they had this Santa's workshop anyway, and a year after that people will wish they had 2024 Santa's workshop. It's just how it goes.
